These terms explain the basis on which you may use the SiteDiet website and Website Health Check. Any paid SiteDiet project will also have its own agreed scope, price and project terms.

About these terms
By using the SiteDiet website, you agree to these website terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or Website Health Check. References to “SiteDiet”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the SiteDiet website and services.
Website information
We aim to keep the information on SiteDiet useful, clear and up to date, but website content is provided for general information. It is not a substitute for a detailed assessment of a particular website, hosting environment, business requirement or technical setup.
We may change, update or remove website content as the SiteDiet service develops.
Website Health Check
The Website Health Check is a free automated diagnostic intended to provide a useful first indication of website performance, accessibility, technical quality and basic search readiness. It is not a complete technical, accessibility, security or SEO audit.
Results are based on data returned by the performance service at the time of the check. Scores and findings can vary because of network conditions, website content, third-party services, hosting, device emulation and changes to the tools used to perform the test. A Health Check result is therefore not a guarantee of current or future website performance.
The diagnosis, likely causes and suggested actions are provided as guidance. A closer assessment may be required before we can recommend or carry out work on a website.
Website addresses submitted for checking
You should only submit a website address that you are entitled to test and must not use the Health Check in a way that is unlawful, abusive, disruptive or intended to interfere with another website or service. Do not enter passwords, confidential information or personal information into the website-address field.
SiteDiet services
Descriptions of static conversion, WordPress optimisation and related services on this website are general descriptions. Whether a website is suitable for a particular treatment depends on its content, functionality, integrations, hosting and business requirements.
No paid work begins solely because you use the Health Check or send an enquiry. Before carrying out a paid project, we will agree the work to be undertaken, the price or charging basis and any project-specific terms that apply. Those agreed project terms will take priority if they conflict with these general website terms.
Performance and outcomes
We may show examples of improvements achieved on previous projects, but every website is different. We do not promise that another website will achieve the same performance scores or results. Performance can be affected by hosting, content, third-party services, browser and device conditions, future changes to the website and changes to external testing tools.
Availability
We aim to keep SiteDiet and the Website Health Check available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The website or diagnostic service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, faults, third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the SiteDiet name, website design, written content, graphics and other original material on this website belong to SiteDiet or are used with permission. You may view and use the website for normal personal or business evaluation, but you must not copy, republish, sell or commercially exploit substantial parts of it without permission.
Third-party names, trademarks, software and services remain the property of their respective owners.

For paid projects, responsibility and any applicable limits of liability will be governed by the project-specific terms agreed with the client.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the SiteDiet website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious code, deliberately overload the service, scrape or automate requests in a way that disrupts the service, or use SiteDiet for unlawful purposes.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and how the Website Health Check uses the website address you submit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as SiteDiet develops. The latest version will be published on this page, together with the date it was last updated.
Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
